Inspired to revitalise their exterior painting with a Mondrian art style patterning, Mount View Market Place required a delicate hand in executing paintwork that could withstand the tropical heat, wind, and rain of North Queensland. Having taken note of the cracking, fading, and oxidation of the exterior paint coatings and wood rot, we put together a project plan comprised of exterior painting work to address these issues. A key challenge we faced with this project was working on the premises safely while opening hours. As Mount View Market Place opens its doors to the public each day, we broke the project down into four sections to ensure that we were keeping up with our project as in as an efficient and timely manner as possible without compromising foot traffic of the business. Much to the client’s satisfaction, the project was completed within the 4-week deadline established.
