When Darryl Hathway Painting and Decorating were called onto the job, our initial checkup revealed that the property was in poor condition. Its paintwork had several badly oxidised areas and was peeling overall. As the condition of the pre-existing paintwork was poor, extensive wet sanding was necessary for the entire exterior of the property. Once the surface had been appropriately prepared, a water-based epoxy was applied, followed by two coats of Dulux Weathershield. The property’s roof needed some tending to as well, as we completed the roof restoration portion with a water-based primer and two coats of AcraShield Membrane to protect it from the elements.
